Dear Friends-
When NCG began in the early 1990’s, there were reports of 20,000 unwanted retiring greyhounds being killed every year. Jerry and I drove all over the country to pick up our beloved seniors because new adopters wanted young dogs...
Thank doG that all changed as more adoption groups came into being, placing greyhounds of all ages in happy homes in every state.
Now, many of those same welcome adoption groups are closing down because the racetracks are closing and the farms that supplied them are going out of business. Greyhound adoption is now a rare privilege in many locations where the groups are unable to provide the dogs.
We are proud and comforted by the fact that we were here to help (to the tune of over $600,000 for adoption groups) when help was most needed. The best part of this era in our lives was living with 37 retired racers- almost all seniors when they arrived- and meeting all of you who love this breed as much as we do.
I am still here to provide photos and descriptions for NCG jewelry contributed to auctions- it just does my heart good to see our jewels doing their job more than once!
With my love, my thanks for your support, and my admiration for all of you,
P.S. You'll appreciate this historic review of

Northcoast Greyhounds is NOT an adoption group
OR a 501(c)3 organization.

Northcoast Greyhounds does not solicit donations of either money or products - quite the opposite. NCG is a privately owned small business which exists only to invent and present to you the unique gifts of our own design or discovery that you'll find on these pages, in order to contribute their earnings to those groups on the front lines of greyhound adoption who do the real work!

You can trust that in shopping with Northcoast Greyhounds,
100% of earnings are contributed to Greyt Causes.

Covering expenses and operating costs personally is our way of volunteering. We hope you admire our designs and enjoy our products in the knowledge that some greyhound, somewhere, is reaping the benefit of your purchase!

"If you don't spend it with us, we can't give it away!"
