Memorial Hearts & Rainbow Rings
 We've been offering these two special memorial gifts since mid 2005, each carrying with them a small contribution to Morris Animal Foundation so that each pet being memorialized will become, because of your gift, a part of the eventual cure for canine cancer. At the beginning of 2008, your gifts have sent over $2500 to Morris, matched by the Greyhound Project.

Consider sending a Memorial Heart. Produced by Fire & Light in Arcata, CA from recycled glass and etched with our 8Ball greyhound, we'll personally etch the pet's name on your gift. The $60 cost includes giftwrapping and shipping by Priority Mail. If you're ordering a heart for yourself you may order without contribution or card for $50.
Or, perhaps a Rainbow Ring. It's not about size or sparkle. It's about sending a major gesture of caring at minor expense. As shown in the image above, the ring in rainbow hues comes tied to the card with a knot of grosgrain ribbon, within a black metallic envelope. Cost: $30.

 Because so many greyhounds have Feline Friends, we've added a heart for kitties- only in aqua.

Memory Heart
 Like the little Memory Jewels shown on this page, this little heart was hand cast by NCG's casters, with love. It measures .75" across and 1/4" in thickness.

Greyhound Spirit Guides
 "A totem can be the symbol of a tribe, a clan, a family or an individual. Native American tradition provides that each individual is connected with nine different animals that will accompany him/her through life, acting as spirit guides. Different animal guides come in and out of our lives depending on the direction in which we're headed and the tasks that need to be completed along our journey.
Native beliefs further explain that a totem animal is one that is with you for life, both in the physical and spiritual world. Though people may identify with different animal guides throughout their lifetimes, it is this one totem animal that acts as the main guardian spirit."
Wolves, coyotes and dogs are all listed among totem animals, and though the dog isn't specified as a greyhound, I'm certain the greyhound is my personal totem, the jewelry I wear all bears their fetish, like those of the bears, the buffalo and the beaver represented in this photograph. As a matter of fact, I'm sure that all nine of my spirit guides are greyhounds, too!

Memory Jewels
 Keep loved one's ashes close to your heart by wearing memory jewels.
The 1" oval, on the right, is adorned with Brynn in her cheerful scamper. 4 are available at $60.
The center pendant has sold out in the square, but we have the same size in a round pendant. It features Tiny 8 Ball, and could be the easiest to wear but most difficult to fill. At only half an inch in width, you can imagine the size of its neck.. Still, only a tid bit of your loved ones ashes will make this a meaningful keepsake... We have 2 priced at $45.

Silver Lockets
 Hinged on the bottom, the locket folds out when the little screw at the top is loosened, revealing frames for two pictures. The rectanglular locket is 7/8" in height, without including its bail.
